BEGGAR NATION

Once upon a time, America was populated by a majority of rugged, self-reliant citizens. These Americans worked hard for what they had, were proud of their accomplishments, no matter how little they may have been, and considered taking charity shameful. If they wanted something they worked for it and if that wasn’t enough, they lived without it. These good people gave money to charity, especially to their churches, to help the poor and to lend a helping hand to a minority of citizens temporarily down on their luck.

A Nation built on the backs of such folks thrived, innovated and excelled like never before seen on this Earth.

Today America finds itself in the grasp of a majority of voters who can’t seem to get enough without taking the bread from the mouths of others. These are not rugged self-reliant types but greedy beggars who, if they can’t earn it, take it from their neighbors instead of doing without.

These new Americans are not ashamed to act needy and not ashamed to ask for charity. These new Americans even take from their children and grandchildren by borrowing trillions of dollars they themselves have no intention of paying.

These sheeple were seduced by a Community Organizer who promised to give them more and more in return for power – and these greedy beggars responded with cheers, tears, and most importantly, votes.

What do we call a Nation populated by a majority that can’t or won’t fend for themselves?

We call it a Beggar Nation.

Love,
